Any one from Wichita Kansas
This might sound like a strange question but I was wondering if there was anyone that lived in Wichita Ks, I have been going up there for medical procedures every week, and I was wondering if they had any bargin stores, like bread, meat, ect. I need to lower my food bill a bunch and since I was there maybe I could do some of my shopping make the trip due more then my procedure, I did a yellow page search but alot of the stores do not have a web site so it is hard to compare prices so if any one could help me in this matter I would greatly appricate, it. Thanks a bunch

I am. Honestly I couldnt really tell you a bargain store. There are a few bread outlets around town. And there is an Aldis, but as you probably know this is Dillons country! I usually just go in with a couple of people and buy a cow every 6 months for my meat and mostly shop at Dillons. There is a Target superstore that is cheaper I think than Walmart. I refuse to go to Walmart for anything. But that is just my own personal "issue". There is a "discount" store called Barneys Deep Discount that I used to shop at for things personal care items, soda and/or cig's, and it is right next to an Aldi's. Wish I had more information for you! Sorry.

Hey I thought I would let you know that thursday I went to the homeland store in Wichita, and they were having double $1.00 off coupons if you had their card, well I signed up for it and I ended up with $58 worth of groceries for $37 when i broke 2 of meals down, it came out to 27 cents per person for the meals, I just wish I had felt better and had my coupons more orgainzed then I would have saved alot more, but i was feeling bad with just gotten my steriod shot, but I am going to keep an eye on that store and when i am down there stop by there. I ended up saving enough to pay for the gas down there so i am really happy, just thought maybe since you were down there you might want to check it out, plus they had really good deals on marked down meat, I was there after 1:00 oclock and they still had plenty of marked down meat. so it was really worth looking into

I am from Wichita! It is great to meet a couple of other villagers from my neck of the woods! There are three Homeland stores in Wichita, one at 21st and Amidon, Central and West St., and 31st and S. Seneca. I love Homeland since they started doubling dollar coupons. This week, they are doubling up to $2.00 coupons! Aldi's is good for some things. There are several bread thrift stores. I haven't found a good place to get deals on meat. I really like the Super Target stores. Go to their website for printable coupons! I have a monthly "Coupon Swap" that meets at my house the first Thursday of the month. I also teach "Super Shopping Skills". Send me a PM if you are interested!
