Default Found this in my email.....

I am sure this has all been said before, but it bears repeating, I think.#1. Don a positive attitude! You have more influence over yourself
    than
anyone else...so ditch the negative thoughts and think positive!

#2. Take small steps. Instead of a major goal such as "pay off all
    credit
cards by the end of the year", decide to pay off one credit card in 3
    months.
Then another, and these short-term goals added together will bring you
closer to achieving your major goal!

#3. Cut a few extras out of your budget, like eating lunch out every
    day,
and you will free up money that can be used somewhere else. Maybe to
save for a special vacation, new piece of furniture, etc.

#4. Save something out of every paycheck, even if it is only $5.00.
You won't even miss it, the "nest egg" will grow and pretty soon,
    you'll
    find yourself saving more!

#5. Cultivate good spending habits...grocery shop with a list; use
    credit
cards only when necessary and pay off the balance monthly; shop
around and compare prices and quality before making big-ticket
    purchases.

#6. Get the whole family involved in your financial process. Discuss
with your teenager how much you can save simply by turning lights off
when you leave a room, for example.

#7. Remember to look ahead...we all know the holidays are coming at
the end of the year. It's a lot easier to put back a little every
    month than
it is to come up with hundreds of dollars for gift-buying in December.

#8. Be proud of your frugal life! Make it a game to find ways to have
fun without spending much (or any) money. Have a picnic in the park
instead of eating out; check a video out of the library instead of
    going
    to the movies, etc.

"Thrift is not an affair of the pocket, but an affair of character."

I bet people would be surprised if they read all their e-mails to find out what was in them.

This one is a great one. Thanks for sharing it.
