.59 cent lb. chicken!
If you have a Smith's Food and Drug in your area check the sale paper. They have Tyson whole chickens for 59c lb. They run about $2.45 to $3.00 a hen and man are they tender! This is the most tender and best tasting chicken I've had in about 5 years from ANY store. My neighbor bought some too and grilled her's and she said it was tender and tasted great. Don't miss out! I got 3 and I'm hopeing to get more this week.

Smith's is a Kroger affiliate. I have Smith's; my friend in Indiana has Kroger ... and, when we chat (on free cell minutes), we often find comparable grocery sales.
Sometimes the sales switch around with similar items. For example, they might get the Tyson chickens next week. OR they have a 10 for $10 sale, and we have an 8 for $10 sale. (Prices are higher here.)
So, check at Kroger, if you don't have Smith's.

We have kroger here, and they have the 10 for 10 sale each week, it just changes items. I love it when they have the shredded cheese and whole cheese like that. I buy alot of it.
I went two weeks ago and stocked up on some sale items and they had turkey parts reduced and I almost got a whole turkey buying separate packages for $5, I thought I needed to do that more often.Maggi
