Mark one down for me.....
I have to tell everyone about this, Yesterday morning I made some powdered milk for baking, trying to cut some money out of the grocery bill, My dh has told me he would not drink water down milk so I have not been using powdered milk except for baking and such well yesterday he went down to have some cearl and he used the powdered milk and could not tell the differenace neither could the kids, it was funny I tried to tell him he drank my powdered milk that I had made for baking, He has now decided that we can try using the powdered milk instead of whole milk since it cost about $6.86 for 5 gallons of powdered milk compared to $12.00 for 5 gallons of regular milk so I made some powedered milk today and mixed it with what regular milk we had left over and we shall see how everyone does with it, I am so happy I am doing a happy dance,
I finally got one over on my hubby and he admited that I was right about the powedered milk along. I just had to brag a little since this is really help my food budget, I buy at least 2 gallons a milk every 4 to 5 days the savings should really add up and with less going on milk now I have more to get my pantry stocked thanks for letting me brag a little.....

I found a great site while cruising the net. You can also make cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt and other dairy products from reconstituted powdered milk.
Here's the site. http://www.mormonchic.com/recipe/rec...wderedmilk.asp
So happy you got the family to switch over! That is really an accomplishment!

Good for you. Its nice to see a man can be proven wrong once in awhile. I probably would have been chuckling inside a little, seeing him drinking the powdered milk.
PeacewithMyself thanks for the web site. Didn't know you could do all that with powdered milk. Will really help.Maggi
