Thumbs up Donald Trump on Pennies..

Donald Trump was once asked if he would get his change out of the vending machine coin slot. He looked at the interviewer like she was crazy and said "That's MY MONEY. I'm not gonna leave it around for someone who DIDN'T earn it!!!"

    Classic!

Well every PENNY counts & adds up to

I found a few non US coins someone left in the bank's coin slot return of the coin machine! I guess the bank doesn't want FOREIGN COINS but the grocery store gives them back to you w/mixed change ALL THE TIME

I wasn't using the machine but saw a bottle they were using for collecting for the PENNY DRIVE & I wanted to read the note attached & then noticed the coins Quarter & Dime sized. I couldn't read the print on them since it's a bit tiny & I was soooo tired on my way home from visiting Ma in the hospital!

Our banks won't accept foreign coins under a certain value. You have to have whole honking lot of money in that currency before they'll exchange. Drives me crazy. They do it with US coins too. They exchange them on par with Canadian coins. It's okay now, when the dollars are almost even, but when the Canadian dollar was worth only 65 cents on the US, it was a real nuisance knowing they wouldn't change an American quarter for what it was worth! Especially when you had a jar full of them!

I agree with Trump too. No way is someone else getting my change!

Trump on Change - Yep that's how the rich get richer. They know the $$ they have.

We have been saving our change for years and years. When our son was young we would save for vacation in the change jar. The week before our trip we would roll it all and take it to the bank. The vacation goal was to only use the change $$ for the trip. We were successful.

As He got older and started going to Fball camp we did the same thing. We just stayed in the town where the FBall camp was for that week. Hubby watch the boys practice and I brought my crafts or the sewing machine and a good book and just enjoyed the down time. We always got a room with a kitchen so we could cook most of our food.

Now, that DS is graduating we are going on a cruise in the fall to Alaska. We've saved in a separate account for 3 years. The trip is paid for and all the 4 of us need to do is show up at the dock!

Yep, it took many 5/2 weeks. (5 veggie, 2 meat dinners) to paid the trip off but, it will be worth it!

PeacewithMyself, sounds like you have a great plan. Something I could definitely install at my place for the future.
