Golden Opportunity
I have been presented with a golden opportunity that will change the way I frugalize.
Two months ago my spouse and I broke up. I went to live with my family and I've been living in a spare room without an income or even my clothing for most of this time.
I just got a job locally and my family has told me that I can stay there without having to put in for food and rent as long as I save up to buy my own land. I would never be able to afford to do this on my own and I'm touched by their incredible generosity. To respect the magnitude of this offer, I've decided to save all of my money except for 40$ a month.
I've never been in a position like this. The break up is very hard on me, but this sure gives me a sense of future and independance that I wouldn't have had any other way.
I have 280$ saved so far.

What's that old saying..? For every door that closes a window opens, is that right? Well I'd say your window is a great big picture window. I'm happy to hear that some positive things have come out of your loss
