What great factory outlets do you shop?
Are there any great deals out there at factory outlet stores?

I went to the Malden Mills fleece factory outlet and I was disappointed. I don't know how much this stuff runs at a fabric store, but it wasn't cheap at all. They did have random scraps by the bag - mostly dreary colors. And the deal did seem to be buying a blanket there.
Today I checked out the Classic Elite yarn outlet in Lowell, MA. I really don't know the prices of skeins by various manufacturers, but it didn't seem like a deal. The only deal was yarn by the cone. But I'm not sure how many yards were on a cone and they didn't seem big enough for a sweater. So I'm not sure if they did have the same dye lots and there weren't tons of them. But I did buy 3 small cones for $10 for dishcloths or doll clothes or hair scrunchies etc.

I went to the Corelle factory outlet store and bought a new set of plates and bowls. I haven't been able to find that particular pattern in any stores around here, and I believe the price was a little bit cheaper, but not a lot.

The only bargains I have found at outlet stores are clearance or damaged items. Most of the time if I wait for sales at the regular stores I find a better deal.

I got my my dd eleven items of clothing for $21 at our outlet mall. Around here, that's about as good as I could do at a thrift store, if not better. Also, I can remember getting a gift for a friend of ours at the crystal store a few years ago that was an absolute steal. I really think it depends on the store. Most of the outlets are just as pricey as the regular stores if not more so.

I live in a very small community with no outlet malls anywhere near but we do have a chocolate factory and a cheese factory in town that have unbelievable bargains. What more could I ask for.

I don't make a habit of shopping at outlet stores. The few times I have I did get some good buys. Mostly, I shop at my regular stores and shop in the sale section, and only then when I have an additional $$'s or % off coupon.

I live near 2 outlet malls and never visit either one. I did when they first opened and was shocked at the prices. Perhaps its because I don't buy alot of clothes. Most of the stores were clothing stores, not some where I would go anyway. Althought we have stoped several times at a place called JR's in North Carolina right before the Va. stateline. Here I have spent money. We purchased blue jeans and blue jeans shorts this was at least 4 years ago and I still wear these items. The shorts which have an elastic waistband are my work shorts have 2 pair and wear them to jobsites. The jeans also have an elastic band and still wear as good as the day I bought them. They are Wanglers and were only about 10 bucks when I bought them. All had a pocket flaw. The pockets in the front had been sewn to the leg when they were made and you only can stick half a hnad in. Not a big problem for me.
I also pick up wine here from the small wineries in both N.C. and Va. The price is good and the variety.

There's a Talbot's outlet in my town. I love that place! The best deal I've ever gotten there was a $198 dress for $9.50! I buy most of my dress shoes there. I have a small, narrow foot, and they not only carry my size, but I often find them there at a tremendous discount. Best deal on shoes was $6.50 for $88 shoes. They have 50% off lowest marked price racks, and I typically find stuff for $5-10. It's always a few months behind the regular store (this is where the regular stores send their merchandise when they get new stuff in), but you can find some tremendous bargains if you don't mind waiting or buying last year's stuff.

There's a Ben's Bakery Outlet down the street from me. Their "last day" bread and bagels go on sale @ $0.89 per package, which isn't too bad.
