Default Idea I got from the What did you get free in June thread...

I was just thinking about this after reading the "What did you get free in June?" thread. I'm going to do an experiment to see how many different "free" things I can use in one day. I'm going to use free shampoo samples, clothes that were given to me, food that I got free after coupons - just to see how many different things I use in one day that I could use freebies for. I guess this will be my ultimate no spend day!

I'm going to do this tomorrow, because now I can think about it tonight and plan for it. If anyone else wants to try the same experiment, I'd love to hear it - use up those cleaning solution samples, FAR items, food/leftovers that you received or got free after coupons, H&BA samples... let's see what we can do!

That's a greta idea. I've been working on the last couple of weeks of using my samples. Don't let them go to waste!

I think this is a great idea and have already started this morning. I washed up with free shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Put on free moiturizer and lotion and free make up and perfume. Then I put on some really inexpensive clothes as I don't get free clothes. Then I had free coffee with free sweetener for breakfast and a smoothie. Nothing free about the smoothie, but all ingredients were bought on sale. Then I put my lunch of leftovers into a free container and drove my car (SO not free) to work and grabbed a free bottle of water out of the company fridge!

Ok, I was too lazy to log on last night, but here's what I did....

*Shampoo and Conditioner - free (product test)
*Body Wash - free (Christmas present)
*Makeup - ok, well, except for the foundation, everything else I used was a free sample!
    *Perfume - free from Bzzagent
*Clothes - dress I'm wearing is a hand-me-down from a co-worker who was PG last year and about my size
*I did get a free apple and banana from the same co-workers, I also ate cereal for breakfast and lunch that I got free after coupons
*I used a chapstick that I got free with coupon at Bath & Body works
*I used a free sample of dishwashing detergent in the dishwasher
*I read a magazine I got as part of a free subscription, and a book that my mom loaned to me
*I swiffered my floors using my "free" swiffer! (dumpster dived)

That's a lot of freebies for me to use in one day! I'm going to try and keep this up.
