    Red face I'm scared...

we are moving on the 1st of july and our rent is going to double plus add another 40 bucks! my dh got a 5.00 dollar an hour raise and this helps, but ekkkkkk!!!!
i have worked a budget and counted high on utilites that we are not currently paying(we pay only electric here), i know we can make it and still have money left to save, i just feel a little scared.
the place where we are going, we will have more room(apartments are not cool when you have 3 boys, plus no washer) a yard for the boys to play, a community pool, and a cool walking trail.
the pros outweigh the scraedy cat feeling, iam just use to paying our rent with 1 paycheck and now i won't be able to do that.

It sounds like you have thought it all out well so logically you know it is ok. I understand what you mean though! Hugs!

Betharoo - It is so hard to make changes even when you know that they are for the best. Keep in mind you have worked all of this out ahead of time and know in your heart you will be ok. Focus on all the positives and try to push the negatives to the back of your mind -- I feel certain that your move to your new home will be for the best.

I know you can find a way to make this work. Sounds like you all will love your new home. Deep breath and I wish you all good things.

You're gonna be FINE! I know how worrying change can be and you're facing a LOT of changes all at once but you've thought it all through.

Just think, before you know it you'll have a YARD!!! How WONDERFUL for the kids AND for you!

    Hugs,

Just think of the extra expense as what it costs to have a little piece of mind (with the boys having more room to roam and a washer and dryer---that should save you a bit too b.t.w). It's always scarey to make a big change.

thanks guys! you all rock! i really do feel better and the added expenses are really worth getting out of here! we live on top floor and the people who are underneath us have been sooooooooooooo mean! they are NOT kidfriendly! and they have 2 go figure! they are like 10 years apart though. they complain for any little noise. ugh! and i mean little, no exaggeration! for example one night my youngest was not feeling well(hes 2) and he was crying in the middle of the night(like a 2yr old would if hes sick) and the man downstairs started banging on the wall like a wild man!!! in turn making my child now scared so in effect he cryed even more and louder!!! GRRRRRRRR, for the people who mess with my boys!
    so anyhoo, thanks

I love living in a home. I agree that with children, it's just too confining to live in an apartment. I just know things will work out for the best for you and your family.

It sounds like you've thought this through and it will be okay. The less stressful lifestyle you'll have with the extra space and no downstairs neighbors will be great.
