How Much Do You Spend A Month For Food?

How much do you spend a month for food including tolietries, paper products, cleaning products and stockpiling? How many people are you buying for?
I spend about $400 per month for everything and this is for 2 people.

I would say $300cdn./mth. I spend $260 for food alone for 3 adults. The other things you mention usually come from "Miscellaneous-household" for us. I think $40 is an over-estimate on them.

We spend between $320 - 400 for the 3 of us but that includes everything!

$450-$500/month, includes cat food and poultry ration, H&B, cleaning, paper, alcohol, etc.

Our diet is about 75-90% organic ('most everything 'cept the booze & chips!)

and we eat meat 6 nights a week. We both bring lunches from home when we work. We eat out as a family about twice a month.

Well, it varies depending on how good the sales are & how much I stockpile. But generally, just for what we use for the month: paper products, cleaning, HBA, pet food, cat litter, and food...about $450/mo for family of six.

I budget $300 a month for all groceries/H&b/pet supplies for our family. . . that includes dh, myself, 16 yo dd. . . I also buy loss leaders for several other struggling families.

Between $5-600 a month. That's down from almost $1000 we were spending when all our kids were home.

I spend about $275 to $350 for three people and three pets. That includes everything. But dh and I have been on a diet so things are alot cheaper. I went on it so he wouldn't be discouraged if I ate something that is fattening. Our son will basically eat anything that is cooked.

So far this month, I have only spent about 85 dollars... although this is the first month that I have been VERY cautious, and I am using things that my neighbors have given me. Last month, I spent about 170 dollars for myself and my two children. This is down from about 560 dollars a month for myself, my children, the nanny, and the nanny's daughter.

about an average of 3-350 2 adults 2 kids 2 cats and 1 dog includes all toiletries health and stuff .....

what i like to do is an estimate of the year....in 2004 i spent an average of 52/week so 208/m the only diff was no dog and an extra cat...
