It has been an expensive day!
We have our house on the market, actually we are moving to OH in August, so it has to sell. Our backyard isn't horrible, many are worse, but there were some dead parts in the grass and a bush that needs to be replaced. So some of the feedback we have gotten is about the backyard. So we rented a tiller ($50) and tilled it up and bought some sod ($130), a bush $13, new hanging baskets (the neighbor was supposed to water them while we were out of town and didn't do it
$10) and then dh got a ticket while going to get the sod, for an illegal U turn ($41.20). We worked all day in the yard and are both sore and tired. Dh stopped for some beer on the way home ($10, I am not really mad about this, we rarely buy it, it is just 1 more expense).
Let's hope tomorrow goes better, and hey an offer on the house would be great!

I'm sure all the hard work will pay off and you'll get a GREAT offer soon! Sorry for the tiring and expensive weekend though, hope hubby shared the beer!
And what part of Ohio are you moving to? I'm between Cleveland and Columbus and LOVE our state, winters can be long and dreary but the summers are BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks ya'll, I am feeling better today. And it is raining and has been since last night! couldn't be more perfect timing with all the new sod.
We are moving to Aurora, Ohio, at least right around there. We don't have a place to live yet, we were going to try to rent an apartment month to month until we can buy a house. I have not actually seen Aurora, but I have been to Ohio and loved it.

Aurora is a nice area, you'll enjoy it there! It is a snowier part of Ohio that where I am but you won't be far from the lake and Cedar Point, always fun there! It's just over an hour from where we are.
Sending good selling vibes your way!
