Uncle Murphey has moved in
When it rains it pours had my 2nd hand surgery and i took a turn for the worse I am not healing like i should so food bill still up, plus our computer moniter died, we had a $554 cell phone bill due to someone staying with us using the phone during the day
, then the kids have been using the dryer and electric bill went from $180 to $284 now medical bills coming in and having to make more trips to see doctors due to not healing, I swear uncle murphey has moved in and plans to stay here, I am hoping that in august I can get everyone back on track and bills back down again it is just so frustrating to get hit with everything at once, I am going to have to tighten the belt to get things back on track, i am going to have to find and kick out uncle murphey, thanks for listening to the vent just need to talk to to people who have been here done that and understand well i am going to close my vent hope everyones budget is doing better then mine.......have a great weekend.

Pam,
So sorry to hear you are not healing as well this time around. I am totally amazed at a $554.00 cell phone bill. Can that person pitch in a little? Hopefully you can get it all back on track soon, but meanwhile concentrate on healing and getting better. I understand about Murphy making a longer than expected visit.
Best Wishes.

Hope you are feeling better. Really sorry about the Murphy visits. I don't understand how a guest could run up such a huge cell phone bill. I would definitely ask for a contribution from them.

I had him visit here too a last week. I don't want to see him anymore!! He is always an unwelcomed visitor at my home.
Put out the unwelcome mat for him so he will move on!
I hope your hand starts to heal like it is suppose to.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear that! I also think your visitor needs to pay for their cell phone calls. Sending good thoughts and hugs your way. This too shall pass.

And yep, Murphy seems to be a recent visitor for several on here, we need to BANISH him!

Oh, Pam, I am so sorry to hear your bad luck. Murphy SUCKS!
You just have to break things down one at a time. I imagine if the person was going to/ able to chip in, you would have already gotten that taken care of. Your priority has to be getting healthy so you can take up the reins again, hon. All the stress you are under can slow down the recovery process for sure.
My only advice is to work on your stress level, not saying to bury your head in the sand, but try not to worry as much about things you cannot fix right now. Snap those kids into shape -- you MUST make them abide by your rules and ways of doing things and if they want, make the results cost them directly. Point out (for example, if one of them is driving) "Our electric bill was an extra $100 because of your refusal to follow the way I do things -- that means there is no money for insurance on your car this month -- you are on foot, buddy!" I think you have to show them results that directly affect them, for teens are self-centered creatures, even the best of them.
Best of luck, Pam, hugs and prayers coming your way.

Thanks for all the wishes they mean alot to me the person who ran up the phone bill is long gone, but i have some good new no trips to wichita for 3 weeks that will help alot, just taking the bills one at a time I showed the girls the electric bill and how much using the dryer costs they are hanging clothes all except the socks, one load is okay with me, I am still having a slow recovery but I am just taking it one day at a time, just when I thought everything was okay the docs call and tell me that my 2nd daughters blood sugur is way to high, so now I have to really watch what i cook and try and get her weight down which is what the docs think is causing this, I have been cooking lower fat for a while but really have to start watching things, I have found that cooking health is more expensive then buying unhealthy so i will need to rethink food budget fruit and veggies have not really come down in price here so i am going to have to figure things out, does any one have any ideas, I am hoping that after aug I will not have to go to wichita except once every three months which would be great on my budget, thanks again for all the support hope everyones month improves..
