    Default Funny TWG story...

Last night we went to BJ's and got more hamburger, since it is the cheapest ground meat around here ($1.99/lb for 90% lean). I asked DH to reach the Ziplock bags, since we bought an 8.5lb package and I was freezing it in individual portions. DH looks at me, and says "We should re-use these bags." I told him that we couldn't because it was meat, and he thought for a minute, and then said "Then wouldn't it be cheaper to wrap them in Saran Wrap?" I told him to hang on, I'd get my TWG. Sure enough, the article did say that the cheapest method of freezing hamburger was to use Saran Wrap! I told DH and he just started laughing.

I don't know if he read my book or if he's just turning into a really frugal guy!

I wrap my meat in Saran Wrap, then put them in the freezer bags so I can reuse them.
