Moving from New York to North Carolina
Any suggestions on saving some $? We're renting a uhaul with a trialer to tow the car, and then gas and food. Also, this will be the first apartment for both of us, so we're both very new to the whole thing. Any suggestions you could offer us are very very appreciated.

Relax and Enjoy the Journey. Sounds like you've got everything pretty well in hand with the Uhaul and tow trailer. Be prepared if you live near the base in Fayettville for artilliry practice. My sister in law lives close to the base and the first time we visited and the pratice started I about had a puppy. The whole house shook! She laughed and told me about her fisrt week there with plates falling off a rack she'd hung on the wall. Other than that the seasons fall and winter will come alittle later than N.Y. But the leaves will be just as pretty.
