Were the ravioli chefboyrdee? I wonder how the knock-off ravioli tastes. My daughter is really into bringing food in her thermos and I will defiantely get some knock-off ravioli if it tastes the same.
I stocked up on PB (2 jars) and jelly (1 jar), and angel soft toilet paper (2-4packs) from Kroger, they were all 1.00 each, so I only spent 6.00 (also bought a half gallon of milk) but not on sale it would have cost me 12.64.Jennifer

I was able to get 20 Pillsbury brownie mixes today for free! They were on sale for $1 each, and I had coupons for $0.55 cents off which my store doubled to $1. I just had to pay tax.

I have gone over the flyers from our two major supermarkets and nothing in there to get excited about or to stock up on. Will check out the Liquidation Centre and see what they have there.

Domestic Gal - I am doing the same thing to-morrow, took ten pounds of ground beef out of my freezer and it is now thawing. Will make a meatloaf and cook the rest ready to pull out for chili, spaghetti etc. Mine was also ..99 a lb. I find this works great.

Ok, today was grocery stockpiling. I joined a website that saves time if you don't have time to work on combining coupons/store sales for the best deals. So far I'm very impressed. I have to pay a fee, but due to me not having as much time for working on sales during the week, I feel it's worth it on my end. Anyway, here's what I got today.
At Publix:
~Pillsbury Ready to Bake cookies one Chocolate chip and the other Chocolate Chunk/Chip (they had 2/$5, then there was a coupon on one of the packages for save $1 on two packages, then I also had a coupon for $1 of one). I don't think both coupons should have gone through, but I forgot to take it out of the stack when I saw the coupon on the package. For some reason it didn't beep. End result is 2 @ $1.50/ea
~Duncan Hines Moist Cake mix (my birthday is next week, so I guess I'll make myself a cake
). B1G1, so I got 2 @ $.88/ea
~Kraft BBQ sauce. B1G1. Got 2 @ $.49 each (would have gotten more, but I still have like 3 bottles from last sale.
~Quaker Instant Oatmeal. B1G1, and I had a $.70 off coupon (I only had one, or it would have been cheaper. So I got 2 for $3.59
Grand Total at Publix: $8.63
At Winn-Dixie:
~2 loaves of Italian bread (B1G1) for $1.69
~Free gallon of Winn-Dixie bleach
~Free box of Kleenex tissue
~3 peaches @ $.98/lb
~More Pillsbury cookies (I wasn't going to buy any more, but they had Sugar Cookies, and Publix didn't). They were also 2/$5, and again the package had a $1 of 2. However my other coupon didn't go through, so here I paid $2/ea
~Milk Bone dog biscuits 2/$5 and I had a $1 off coupon on 2 boxes. Ended up paying $4 for both (usually $3.49 a box).
~B1G1 Beef round steak (got 2 for $2.63)
~Carnation Evaporated Milk was $.89/ea then I had a $.50 coupon on 2. So I got two cans for $1.28
~Non-sale or coupon Beneful dog food (only thing my dogs can tolerate) 17lb for $13.99, but I did get an extra chewy dog treat inside.
Grand total at Winn-Dixie $31.94
I saw some boneless skinless chicken breast B1G1 I wanted there, but my freezer is full. Good news is that I'm getting a small chest freezer tonight! I'm going back tomorrow on the way home from work for that chicken!

DSunny1 - the ravoli was chef boyadee (whoever??) but DH doesn't like the no name brands either - too much sauce. Yeah the kids move out and he gets the brand he likes!
Today I got off work early, went to do some comp shopping and got 5 bags of groceries for $23.00! I'm totally impressed with the savings! over 50%!
