FICO scores range from 300 to 850.

From which credit agency did you receive your score?

Default FICO is the score you need to know...

Jenna is right. FICO ranges from 300-850. Therefore, you did not get a FICO score. This is the benchmark that 99.9% of lenders look at. Your FICO score may very well be in great shape, too. Therefore, you really need to look at your FICO. These other scores, although they look legitimate, are not worth getting. Try myfico.com

You got a Vanage score...the new one from the 3 credit reporting services. They are trying to get lenders to use it instead of FICO.

Actually, TransUnion does go as high as 925. I'm looking at my credit reports (run today) and the range for them is 400 to 925. Experian is 330 to 830 and Equifax is 300 to 850.

891 is excellent! Keep it up there!

    Google:

    FAKO

    FICO

This column is about the difference between the Fair Isaac credit score--FICO--and the ones supplied by the credit bureaus, which we* call FAKO scores.

Credit Score Generally (but not always) a 3-digit number assigned by a CRC to a credit profile. There are many different flavors of scores, and significant differences between flavors are common. Also note that there are many "scores" generated by CRCs that never get issued to a third party--so their practical effect is nill. These are sometimes billed as "FAKOs".

actually it was quoted as a fico score.. it was from the experian web site. i also got to see the list of credit cards\loans ect.. the range was from 550 to 990.

if its not a fico score they owe me a refund.. the only thing they can charge for is the actual fico, not the free credit report ( given free once a year)
