Really pretty! I love brightly painted dishes, although my latest set is plain white. LOL

I love the blue. Last Xmas we bought a new set of dishes and I went with white so that it would go with everything. I should get lots of years out of my set. They are pretty sturdy. Did you find them on sale or did you make them yourself?

It's art ...
These dishes are special and they are art that is also useful.
Feel warm and fuzzy each day. Use them every day.
And save that much money elsewhere and thus "get them for free" and feel even better about them - erase ALL guilt.

Ah, they are beautiful BUT before you eat off them you should check to make sure there is no lead in the finish on them. As I recall Spanish and Portugeuse dishes fell out of favour a few years ago because of it. But maybe they've replaced it with something else? For your sake I hope so.

Peanut, thanks! There is no lead in the finish, they are pottery, microwave and dishwasher safe!

My dd has simular dishes that she is saving for when she moves out. She bought hers in two different swirl colors, yellow and green. Very pretty.
