Default Telephus a question for you.

I notice that you get paid to do a lot of surveys. How long do these surveys take you and how do you find the ones that pay so well? I am signed up for Greenfield, but all the surveys I see are for an entry into their sweepstakes, not a automatic payment. Any ideas on where I could get signed up for some that really pay? Thanks!

I've found that survey sites for me are pretty hit or miss. My strategy is to sign up for every single site I can find, and then after a few months I can figure out if the site is worth it or not for me to continue with them. If it's not (I'm not getting any paying surveys or product tests) then I generally just stop doing the surveys. I rarely unsubscribe - I just delete the emails - because you never know!

And oddly enough, Greenfield is one of those sites that just didn't work out for me. I just cashed out these this morning for $24, which is everything I've earned over the past three years.

    Right now, my favorites are:

Lightspeed Panel (this is a "points" site, but you can cash them in for Paypal)
    American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP)
    Ipsos I-Say
    Synovate
    Viewpoint Forum
    MySurvey/NFO
    U30
    Vividence

My "second tier" favorites - good, but not as good as the ones above

    SurveySpree
    Buzzback
    Mindfield
    Harris Interactive
    ZoomPanel
    Epoll

My "third tier" favorites - I will only do these surveys if I have a lot of free time

    SurveySavvy
    SurveySpot
    TestSpin
    Greenfieldonline

The only company I have had such a bad experience that I will never take a survey again for them is PSB (I filed a BBB report for failure to pay before they sent me the money they owed me).

If I did every survey I received, I'd probably spend 10 hours a week - but I'm pretty picky. I usually start every survey I get, and then withtin 2-3 minutes decide if I want to finish it or now. So realistically, I probably spend 2-3 hours per week.

Also, there are a lot of "survey boards" out there that will give you heads up to look for certain surveys and post links. Not sure if I can post the one I go to, but there are a bunch of them out there if you just do a google search.
