With all my free tomatoes and green peppers think I will be stockpiling salsa next. Have never made it so this is something new for me.

I added 4 cans of campbell's fiesta chili beef soup. I looked at a different store today and they had it!

I found an old recipe that I wanted to make again and it called for this soup. I've looked everywhere for it.

I got fish filets today - 7-8 pounds of flounder and 7-8 pounds of seatrout. Already separated, now I just need to find freezer room. I got them both at $1.88 per pound! Also I found boneless, skinless chicken breast for $1.58 per pound. I had bought about 10 pounds of that but I shared with my mom and aunt and now I have none. LOL. I'm going back to the store tomorrow to get more chicken.

Today I got All Small & Mighty detergent at Walmart for $1 a jug! It is on sale through Oct 8th for $2 a jug, but it is not marked on the shelves. There were coupons in the paper a few weeks back, so I got 3 jugs for $1 each. I am excited!

Wow. So the walmart here is having their ten year anniversary sale. I got....

2 bottles of Calcium Magnesium (200's)
    2 bottles of Vitamin C (100's)
    2 bottles of Multivitamins (120's)
    bottle of Omega 3-6-9
    bottle of St. John's Wort
5 4 packs of chocolate pudding

The vitamins were 50% off and walmart is already cheaper than anywhere else by about 2.00. We'll be good until February for that. That pudding was only .97 each too!

We also bought a 32 count box of granola bars.

And on Friday I bought 6 5packs of juice boxes.

I stockpiled frozen vegetables, whole chix two at $.59 a pound (best deal I've seen so far), split breasts (got three packages at $.88 a pound), twenty-four cans of veggies at $.35 a can (only had one coupon so saved $.80), four bottles of salad dressing (I'm the only one who eats salad so we're stocked for months now), and three bottles of bbq sauce. It seems weird to buy so many unrelated things, but I saved so much money over what I'd normally spend. I haven't checked any new adds to see if anything we need is on sale and I have a whole stack of coupons to go through. I'm really trying to be sensible about purchases and cut the grocery budget. If I stockpile well for a while it shouldn't be too hard

    Just got back from Walgreens...

Arm & Hammer liquid detergent 120 oz, 3 for $7.00 after rebate
Puffs tissue family pack (216 tissues per box) 2 for $3.00 with coupon
Crest mouthwash 1 liter plus bonus smaller bottle (maybe 100ml size?) $5.00 with coupon
Pantene shampoo AND conditioner (total of 2 bottles, 13.5 oz each) for $2.00 with coupon
Dove body wash AND lotion (total of 2 medium bottles) for $5.00 with coupon
Fructis hair conditioner family size (25.4 oz) FREE after rebate
Playtex Sport tampons 16-pack FREE after rebate
    3 12-packs of diet soda (A&W, 7UP, Sunkist) for $7.00
2 5oz bars of Hershey chocolate (for those cravings) for $1.99 with coupon
    2 11oz bags of Werthers hard candies for $2.99 (was a B1G1)
1 6oz bag of Planters trail mix for $0.99
    Dove handwash $1.50 with coupon
4 Lady Speedstick anti-persp/deod for $6.50 with coupons
    4 Gilette men's anti-persp/deod for $3.96 with coupon
Dove anti-persp/deod for $1.50 with coupon

I think I got everything off my receipt. We'll be stocked on deodorant for a while, LOL. I ended up saving $48.76 W/OUT rebates, and I should be getting back about $14.78 in rebates. I think I did pretty well.
