well, lets just say September was a good and bad month. I got the credit cards paid off in the early part, which was great!!! But then, school started, so between classes, homework, co-op placements, needed volunteer hours and my regular job, I have absolutley NO TIME!! DH has been working long hours and doing extra service calls, for extra cash so he doesn't have much time either. I think we went grocery shopping twice, if that. The rest of the meals were from takeout...eek. So the money that we got from extra jobs PLUS SOME was spent on way too expensive food. I also was a maid of honour in my best friends wedding, which left me so busy last week I don't think i remember a single thing about it, plus I'm deathly ill on top of that (stupid cold and flu season!!). This left us behind in a lot of things! I had to spend our EF on my books because my student loan has not been approved yet (it is now, a little too late however). We're not terribly off, but we're nowhere near where we wanted to be by this time! So...

We're selling our old computer for $150, but DH is using $20 of that to buy a sound card so profit =$130
I expect to get my health insurance refund ($150) from the college because I'm now covered by DH's plan profit= $280
Dh has service calls booked all month ($100 a pop) so profit = $780

On top of our usual income, I think we'll be doing ok. We also save money because we no longer have to pay credit card minimum fees, plus I'm getting my loan next week, which will be put on my higher interest loan (and replacing what I took from the EF) which is hopefully lower the interest payments.

Do any of you know any extra ways to earn some cash? It would be much appreciated since we're planning on having DH's school loan paid off in a year and a half!!!
