Default Just Realized I Didn't Go Over On My Grocery Budget!

I thought I went over my grocery budget for September by $4.30. I was looking at my receipt from when we went to the commissary....they had charged me $19.99 for a $5.99 bottle of Tide HE. They overcharged me by $14.00. DH is going to call and let them know and then I am sure they will refund the money when we go next time to do our shopping. So I was actually under budget by $9.60. That makes me feel much better!

~Wow, that's a pretty big overcharge! My DH often gets overcharged. It's like they know he doesn't check the receipt. Last year he was charged for 33 yogurts when he only bought 3. The kicker was that his other purchases totalled about $5. It's a mystery to me how he could fork over $14 for $6 worth of stuff???? But the store refunded it....Whew!~

yay! -- i keep spending my allotment of money too quickly. instead of going over though, i just force myself to make do with what i already have. sometimes its soup for a few days, but id rather do that then have to rework my whole budget.

That's great!! You did an awesome job to come in under budget!! That was a big overcharge, so I'd be sure and get that back.

Great job! Sorry to hear about the huge overcharge at the commisary though.

I glad you did it. I joined for the first time in Sept. and I came in under, but barely by $2 and some change.
