Got the Baby EF funded!
DH and I had saved up $650 so far for the Baby EF. He has a small safe and he had been collecting the dollar coins for quite a long while. He told me today that he didn't want to save them anymore and we could use them for the EF. There were 368 of them! So we took 350 of them and the $650 dollars we had saved and went to the bank and opened a new account that will be just for the Baby EF.
We have paid off all our credit card debt these past 9 months. We kind of did things a little backward, paid off the debt then did the EF. But at least we did it. So I guess now we will start on the other EF. The one where you save like 6 months salary. That one is really going to take awhile.
I am so glad I found the Village and all the wonderful folks here. I could not have done any of this without help, encouragement, tips and the challenges from everyone at the Village! Thanks everyone!!!
