Ok, now I have stockpiled enough shampoo to last a long time. I still have some things to work on. Dh doesn't always seem to understand, but he bragged to his parents tonight and my father last weekend about what great deals I get on groceries and such. Here's what I've stockpiled this month so far. Quiet a list! Sorry if I get long winded with my explainations of things. I get excited about all this.

    Walgreens
~ Dove (face pillows) and Body wash 2/$7 and had a $1 c/o for each.
~Dove conditioner $3.34 (had a sample bar soap on the front) Also $1 c/o
~4 Renuzit solid air fresheners. On sale B1G1, rang up $.99, but I had $.55 c/o for 3. So it ended up being $1.43 for all 4.
~2 boxes of 40ct envelopes for coupon swapping. B1G1 at $.99
~2 boxes of Thermacare heat wrap for shoulders/neck area. Originally on sale 2/$12. I had two $1 coupons, and then I'll be sending in a rebate for $3. So that totalled up to $7. This will be a christmas gift for my father and grandmother.
~3 cans of Pringles. Pringles were marked down to $.99/ea, then there was a store coupon to make them $.79/ea limit 4. I had a coupon for $.30 off 3 cans, so I ended up getting them for $2.07
~Celestial seasonings peach tea. Small box in the $1 section. 10 bags for $1
~Halloween M&Ms were on sale 2/$4 and then there was a coupon in the EasySaver catalog so it ended up being 2/$3. Got peanut and peanut butter. mmmmmm......

    ~Dove deodorant $2.50 had a $1 c/o
~3 different Dove shampoos. 3/$10 (one had a small hairspray sample on the front). Also had a coupon on it inside carboard area where the sample was.

    CVS
    ~Bounty Basic 8pk $4.99 and I had a $.25 c/o.
~One-a-Day vitamins. Energy brand cost the same as the others, but I had a $2 c/o on it, so I got it.

I am stock piling nothing this week. We have so much stuff we need to eat some before we buy anything else. So we are not going to the store only if we need milk will we get that but other then that nothing. I know it will kill me with the deals and things proably but that is ok. We go the following week and I don't plan to get much then either.

Glad for all the deals everyone else is getting thou.

I haven't stockpiled this week. I spent yesterday moving my stockpile around. I got new shelves and reorganized everything. Today I made a list of things I need to stock up on. Mainly soups and veggies. I'll probably go do that tomorrow.

I don't know how you find things so cheap! Where I live butter is $3.69/lb., and it never goes on sale!

I'm not stockpiling as much as grocery exiling and processing food for the freezer. Mostly megacooking at the moment.

~ cooked up 18 c. of green lentils for the freezer.
~ megacooked fruit muffins using leftovers in the fridge.
~ megacooked Shepherd's pie for the freezer.

That's it. There are no deals in the grocery stores here. All food is expensive. At least the stuff I can eat. I can't eat the processed foods...they usually have soy in them, which I can't have.

5 six packs of pepsi products for $10. I have about 8 six packs around so that hubby will now take it in his lunch and not have to pay one penny for any other drink, unless he wants to.

i'm close to going over my food budget for the fortnight - but i'm guessing that happens a bit when you first try to stockpile? i imagine it evens out over a few months (hope so!)

so in the past few days i've stockpiled:

    2 cakemixes @ 69cents ea
    3kg sugar @ $1.79
3 packs chicken breasts @ $6 ea (half price)
2 lg packs chicken drumsticks @ $3 ea (third off)
2 lg jars of coffee @ $6.99 (almost half price)

so i think i have enough meat (i also have a lot of beef mince in my little freezer) and chicken to last into november. i would have bought more chicken if i had the space to store it - i just have the little freezer compartment above my fridge. its the corn fed, no hormone etc one, the best quality and tasting, but most expensive! i can see now that you have to check the use by dates, they slash the prices the day before they are due to run out.
