Default Whats for dinner - Sunday

The best buy in the sale sheets this week is whole boneless loins of pork for $1.47 a pound. Since I already have four in my freezer and that is the limit I allow myself I took one out and am doing pork chops and a couple of roasts so I can buy another one. Having the pork chops for dinner and am going to make some applesauce with some of the apples we picked, potatoes and haven't decided on a vegetable yet.

We had shredded chicken that I cooked in chipolte marinade in the crockpot the day before yesterday. Had it wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with homemade pico de gallo. I had a small, pkg.d rice krispi treat (have to buy these instead of making a pan cuz I'll eat the whole pan but can resist them in the package or at least have only 1 every few days=90 calories not bad)

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
