    Default ING Accounts

I have been reading about those of you that have opened your EF accounts through ING. I am a bit scared having another bank linked to my checking account. Did it worry any of you?

I have one, it came highly recommended by one of my most fiscally responsible friends lol. She uses it herself.
They are FDIC insured, so it's just like online banking with your regular bank. It's just like having an automatic bill pay set up (only more secure).

It didn't worry me at all, but since I've been paying bills online through direct debit from my bank account for years, I had experience with it. I can see why someone might worry if they've never done it before.

Didn't worry me. ING is a well known company. The chances of them running off with my money did not seem great. We do a lot of our payments as direct withdraw and my husbands primary paycheck is a direct deposit, so I guess we were familiar with the process.

I was a little worried at first, but I've had a great experience with ING. They are always upgrading their security features. If you pay bills online, it's really no different.
