    Exclamation great day using coupons.

    Hi everyone
Yesterday I sat down with the coupons from the paper. I was lucky I had 2 batches from 2 papers. I didnt buy either of them. When I matched them up with with the sales papers in my area Walgreens had many of the items on sale with a in-store coupon, plus I could use the mfg. Here what I saved.
I spent (before in-house and mfg coupons)
    65.14

After the cashier rang in all the coupons
    34.35

    I saved 30.79 using coupons.

The cashier was suprized it was that much savings. The gentleman behind me in line said this was proof he was going to start saving and using coupons.Dh was shocked when I showed him the reciept.
I have never saved that much before. I just want to say that it took me about 1/2 hour to cut all the coupons and not much longer to match them.

That's great. You all at the village has inspired me to start using cupons more and to plan before I shop. Last week Houchens had there peter pan peanut butter on sale for .99 and I had a .30 cupon. Houchens also doubles cupons .50 and under, so I only paid .39 for a thing of peanut butter.I was so excited.

    Very cool!

That reminds me that I need to go through the coupons from this past Sunday's paper. There were about 5 coupon inserts this time. Usually there are only 2.

Good job!! If you keep doing it consistently you may find the savings get a little bigger each time.

Just this past Sunday my total before coupons was $137.26 and after was $61.16 (55% savings). This doesn't happen every week, but my savings is usually right around 45%.

So, keep up the good work!!

I did okay with coupons last week but I best coupons were on for a free oxi detegernet ball starter kit, I had 2 $5.00 off coupons on that new glade light show walmart had them for $7.97 so I paid $2.97 for each of them I did not figure that was to bad since one was going into my 2 boys room.... Great deals with the coupons. I have a trip to wichita this month taking my coupons and going to the store up there that doubles $1.00 of coupons I usally do my stock piling then. I have saved 69% one time i love when i can do that. my dh brags to everyone that i am the shoping queen so good luck on the coupon clipping for everyone.
