    Wink So Many Samples!

~I was cleaning up my laundry area this week and counted 10 one load detergent samples on my shelf. I know I can get 3 loads out of each one making 30 loads total. That's almost a month of laundry! It occurred to me that my lotion/shampoo sample basket is also full. So, starting December 1 I'm gonna use up ALL my samples until they're gone. Too many is just clutter, lol!~

Don't you just love samples? I literally cannot remember the last time I've had to buy shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste etc.

I love using the samples too. I have found several products that I now purchase on a regular basis because I found them by samples sent from the companies.

Did you get a sample of the new Tide Simple Pleasures? I got the lavendar and vanilla and it was so yummy smelling, I am going to get a bottle the next time I need detergent. I will only use it for my scrubs for work and my clothes, I don't think my DH wants to smell that "pretty", LOL.

~I would have gotten 3 of the Tide simple pleasures but one they sent me was an empty box! One is lavender and one is rose. I sure don't remember signing up for 3...hmmmm......~

I got four loads out of the Cheer True Fit. We didn't care for the scent, but for free, we used it!

I've been trying to use up my HBA samples for the last month. I haven't used a full sized bottle of shampoo or conditioner, or any facial moisturizers, cleansers, anti-aging products, sunscreens, masques, etc. I had forgotten how many good things I had in my stash - like Crest Whitestrips and the Biore Nose Strips! I have found many products I like and buy from using my sample stash. Right now I'm trying to find a PM moisturizer and an eye cream that I like enough to buy.

I also got the tide samples - and I usually get three loads out of each. I LOVE the Lavendar and Vanilla one - I also use the lavendar and vanilla Downey fabric softener - but I can't use it on DH's clothes. He thinks it smells like old ladies!

~Yesterday was my first sample day. I used a Tide sink size sample to wash a mini load of diapers and 2 red shirts. Last night I used Dove calming night body wash and lotion. I'll have enough body wash for a week, but I used all of the lotion sample. Loved the products but I thought the scent was WAY too intense and purfumey. I especially liked the way my 'dry' spots, elbows and knees, felt this morning. Smooth! I might consider buying some just for that use.~

Do you get the samples through contacting the company or do they just come in magazines/newspapers?
