    That one is REALLY good!

We try to do what they suggest...have a "fun money" activity or purchase each month...not much...3.79 for a movie rental (with coupon so we get 2 movies!), or a thing of ice cream at the store, or buying a $10 or less DVD at Walmart... That sort of thing.

And the neighbor comment is hilarious!!

I really enjoyed this....I think it shows the "creativity" most frugal people use to keep their motivation. I "use" my neighbors as motivation all of the time!

Excellent article! DH and I definitely treat ourselves once in awhile...like a little candy from the bulk bins at the grocery store.

As naughty as it is, when I see others wasting money it *does* make me feel better about myself...so bad!

Yeah, I'm guilty of the neighbor thing, too. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. Good article, thanks for sharing.

That was a great article...The keeping up the Jones' is such a disturbing thing for me. I know we have all been there at one time or another, but I am so conscience of that now. I am glad that we live way out in the country so I don't have to see what the Jones' buy..LOL...
