    Default My first couponing

OK, It's been about 15 years since I used or even looked at coupons. So this past Sunday bought a couple of papers and looked. Just took the ones I used and save $16.69 I am like, so proud of myself. I always had it in the back of my head that I could always by the store brand cheapier, but there was alot of coupons that I actualy use the stuff, I might get hooked on this!!
It's all because of this site and the GREAT people here!!!

    Fantastic!

I've recently gotten really into watching ads and matching coupons. For example, last week, CVS gave $5 Extra Care bucks back if you bought $15 in Dove products. I easily did that because I use mostly Dove products, plus there were tons of coupons in that week's paper. I got $27 of stuff down to $19, and that doesn't count the $5 bucks back.

Then this week, I went in for a sale on Crest Pro-Health toothpaste, which was on sale for $1.88. I had a $1-off coupon. They had Twizzlers buy-one-get-one-free, so 2 bags wound up being $2.29 (my little treat!). I had a coupon for $2.99 off anything (Extra Care bucks from something else). My total came to 18 cents!!!

I've been matching coupons to grocery ads, too, but nothing quite as dramatic. It really is amazing how much you can save when you just put a little extra time and study into it! I love coupons!

My stores double coupons. I get lots of things FREE by combining sales and coupons. I don't care where you shop, store brands are NEVER free!

I can't ever seem to do this. There are rarely coupons for things I buy anyway/need and I can't just buy the things that have coupons that I wouldn't otherwise, or I haven't saved anything! Every so often I get $1 off something. I don't get it.
