My son lives in another part of the state when he's away at college and banks with them. He's never done business with any other group of people with such wonderful such customer service. He's hoping to get a summer job & beyond? with them too.
Thanks for the heads up happymommy!~*Darlene*~

I use HSBC for my "rainy day fund" -- the lone for less than roof caving in emergencies. I really like them and have never had a problem. This is the account that I move money in and out of. (I have a different "untouchable" emergency fund account, little but growing.)
This offer is through the end of April, after that it returns to it's regular rate -- 5% or 5%+? I'm not sure exactly what it is now. I'm debating doing this, but I would not have much to put in for these three months, so I might not really make enough to make it worth fiddling with my budgeted allotments to the other account and pay off schedule I made for the CC. I'll decide in the next day or two.
But if you have a chunk of money that could go it, or were ready to open a new account somewhere, it's a nice deal.Donna

I can't see how I can transfer my ING money in here. Am I missing something or must I transfer ING to my checking and go from there?

HSBC is a good bank
Don't forget the rate is only for a few months! Might not be worth switching and then switching back.
