    Default A not so frugal surprise:)

    Well, after some time of feeling rather icky, it turns out we'll be expecting a surprise addition to our family in October. We were taking measures to prevent such a surprise (apparently not enough) but I guess the higher powers that be have other plans for us. Things are probably going to get a lot tighter and this definitely changes/prolongs some plans, but I believe no child is ever a mistake. I'm still shocked and a little numb myself. It doesn't feel real. I go to the doctor next Tuesday to hopefully get an accurate due date.

    what lovely news! congratulations!!

    i loved your 'surprise' description, lol. my first must have been an insistent ds, i was taking the strongest pill on the market (no, didn't miss one and wasn't sick), found out i was pregnant, had a miscarriage the same day, then several weeks later had an ultrasound and there was a 19 week old baby there - surprise! she was a twin - so one went back home and the other clung on for dear life! she was the healthiest girl in the world, and weighed in at 9lb 2oz.
