How often do you run your dishwasher?
Just curious...
We typically run ours every other day. No kids, it's just DF and me.

We're the same, usually every other day for the two of us. Occassionally we'll do it on the in-between days if we have cooked a big meal or if I did some baking and made extra dishes. I'm lazy, I put pots etc in there

Haha I guess I'm lazy too...I wash everything in the dishwasher, giant pots included! I can't stand thinking about all the germs on sponges or dishrags. Yuck!

I was running it every day, sometimes twice but I've been doing everything by hand for the past couple months. I had so much that had to be done by hand anyway, so I don't find it's taking much longer. My power bill dropped by a third.

Doing the dishes is one of DD's chores. She does at least two loads a day and sometimes more. Nothing is hand washed, everything goes in the dishwasher. Having a dishwasher was one of the requirements when we bought our house.

~About 10 times a week. I use the air-dry feature to save money. Based on how much utility bills went up when we got it, it costs $20 a month to run. I pay just pennies for detergent and use vinegar as a rinse aid. I NEVER want to be without a dishwasher. Too many memories of my poor mother washing a PERPETUAL pile of dishes for a family of 7.~

I run it about every other day for a family of 5. I do all the pots, pans, Tupperware, and big stuff by hand to save room though and because I don't think they get as clean in the dishwasher.
