    Default Did you watch the gas news tonight?

    Ugh the report I saw just had me gagging. Thy predicted $4 a gallon for summer. The next news clip right after was about corn prices driving food prices up. Wow I already thought it was getting hard to stretch a normal income.

    $4 a gallon....jeesh. It is $2.99 here. Gulp!!!!

    I cant take it. Its $2.99 here and I live in the middle of corn country. Our town is trying to get an ethanol plant built right in the town too

    If this gas price stuff keeps up, I may have to switch to the cheap vodka (kidding).....goodness...just might be cheaper to put vodka in the fuel tank now that I think of it!!

    So is ours. I'm in WI~corn country also. I may be buying corn for my critters from the Amish if this keeps up. Our gas was $3.08. We are not happy. Dh commutes 40 miles and I commute 60.

    LOL thanks for the giggle! Dh has a shirt that says "drink beer. It's now cheaper than gas!!"

    It's only 3 o'clock here so haven't gotten to "news hour" yet.

    What on earth? $4/gallon?!

    I'm getting frustrated working so hard to stretch $$...just to have them raise the prices and we end up spending the same, but getting less and working more for it!!

    Is it ever gonna stabilize?

    They're talking $1.12/litre here in SK, Canada. That's over $4/gall.
