things you wanted but didn't buy
and are glad you didn't or things you wanted and you bought and wish you hadn't wasted the money on.
I'm glad I didn't follow the silicone baking ware craze. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I'm glad
I did not buy a new vehicle. I really wanted to but I bought used instead. I'm glad I did. It's paid off and even tho it's used, my insurance continues to creep up. Imagine if it was newer! Yikes!!

~I have some silicone cupcake molds and mini loaf pans. Very easy to clean and bake up beautifully. Bought them super cheap though. I've been seeing them at yard sales too.
Hmmm. Some things I wanted but didn't buy....DVD TV series' like Adam 12, That Girl, Mary Tyler Moore show and cable for my DH. I'm not sorry.
Some things that I regret(more like DH!) and think were a waste of money?.....Engagement ring, movie tickets, appliance service contracts. Actually if I wanted to make my DH sound really bad I could think of hundreds of things that I think he wastes money on but stupid spending is subjective. Mostly he's pretty awesome about saving money. How he spends his allowance is his business, kwim?~~Constance

I bought two silicone pans and wish I hadn't.
We've never bought a new car and I'm REALLY glad we haven't.
I wanted a stand mixer but was given a perfectly good hand mixer. It will work -for now.

I have to say that I didn't follow the silicone bakingware craze either.......................although I DID go out a couple weeks ago and buy (at full price
) a silicone loaf pan.
My family LOVES when I make cheese bread. It ALWAYS stuck in my teflon pan. No matter what I did, the cheesy areas would stick.
Now I only do my cheese bread in the silicone pan and it's a breeze to come out.......... I LOVE it! Money well spent for me

I want a new DVD and VCR player/recorder. I have not bought it because I keep wondering if I would really, really use it. We currently have an old VCR player and DVD player that work fine for now.
I regret all the silly impulse purchases like more nail polish that just sits around, the bread machine that I have not used for at least a year, the kitchen gadgets that are never used and most often forgotten
I do not regret buying CD's for in my car on long rides or books that I have enjoyed.

A new travel trailer which would be sooo cool but we're not about to take on any debt (ESPECIALLY for a recreational item) and our paid for pop up camper works just fine for us.
