    Smile well its official

Friday a bunch of us received notice that come the end of June we will be laid off. Its ok--Im not heartbroken or anything. I just started working at the end of november. My pay was just going towards our savings and our fun money so I wont have to worry about feeding the family. Unfortunately a lot of my co-workers are single parents and I feel horrible for them.

DH and I discussed it at length and decided I would just stay home with the kids over the summer. Now I really need to start paying attention and watching our finances. But I sure am happy to spend the summer with the kids. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Have a fun summer. Go to free shows in the park and make the most of it.

Well, if you're gonna get laid off, might as well be in June!! This just might be one of the best summers of your life!

I sit at my desk every day waiting for my pink slip... jobs in my department are now being sent to India, but they tell us they are keeping "all of us" here in the states as well... which is absolutely not true . The ~joke~ among us is that we will get laid off on a cold, icy day in January.

Sorry to hear about the lay-off, especially for those single co-workers who depended on that income.

Enjoy your summer with your children!!
