Default What do you sell on e-bay?

I know many of you sell a lot on e-bay. Some of you even make a supplemental income from buying stuff from garage sales/other sales and then selling on e-bay. I admire you!
Since I live in another country I cannot compete with you... But I'd like to know what kind of things you have been the most successful with on e-bay?!? Lately I have been using a similar internet-based service and I have sold one small bike and lots of used childrens clothes. Now I have been thinking about selling books and some other stuff that we no longer use. So please give me your best tips: what stuff sells best??

I sell stuff that I don't need anymore (bigtime decluttering ): some new cloth diapers we didn't use, my old clothes, DS's small clothes, software, books, movies etc. I absolutely love eBay, I know many hate it though. Also, I resell things. For example, I bought DS a pair of used Robeez (shoes) from eBay this spring but they got small in a week so I just resold them and made my money back. I also found a pair of Robeez from a consignment sale for $3 that I'm going to sell and prob make $20 by selling them.

I sell my own art, books, and whatever else I can think of. Nothing of mine has been selling well this year. When I started in 2005 I could sell almost everything I listed.

We have not sold on it for quite some time but when we did we sold books, tools and glassware. We had great luck with Franciscan pottery.

I used to sew and sell children's boutique items. But I don't do that too much anymore. That was back when I only had 3 kids. lol Sometimes I crochet hats and sell them. I am working on a super cute boys crochet sailor hat right now.

Usually I resell things of my own, or things I have paid next to nothing for in a thrift shop. Right now I have a whole bunch of Old Navy skirts I bought on Ebay, they are all new with tags. I paid about $13 for them, shipping included! I think I have 15 of them. I plan to resell them for a nice profit.

I just sold a few sets of my Stampin Up stamps on ebay and made pretty decent money--$40 something for three stamp sets.

Vintage accessories. These are found at yard sales and Goodwill.

Right now I am selling books. I have found that if I research the books on eBay before I put them on I usually do better.

For example - one book in particular I have sold for $20 but I looked it up and the prices range from $5 - $25. I put my book in collectibles for books - can't remember the exact category and got $20. The ones that are just put in non-fiction sell the lowest. This particular book is from the early 80's.

I sell New Nike sneakers, New basketball/football jerseys and some t-shirts that we buy at auction at a HUGE discount. We have been making about $500/week from just that. Then we also sell Harold Carmichael (former eagles player) signed pictures, hats, etc... We don't pay anything for them though since it's my boyfriends father, he just gives him things here and there so that's all profit.
