    Default Private Health Insurance

    Forgive me if this has already been posted somewhere. My husband and I have to find our own private healthcare insurance. His company does not carry it but will reimburse us a somewhat modest amount. Are there any Villagers out there who can recommend a program for us? Thanks!

    I don't know about everyone else, but health insurance drives me crazy. I have mine through my employer but its still very expensive.

    I think carriers & premiums vary by state. I would ask neighbors, coworkers, friends & family in your area about who their agent is or which carrier they have. I wouldn't recommend any carrier I've had, guess it depends on history, claims, etc as to how "happy" you are with any of them.
