That's really horrible. I notice on some sites you have to click to see the price if items are really low. I wonder if it'll effect online sites as well? I always could find vast differences in prices ranging hugely sometimes as much as 200 dollars or so for larger items. This law might be common ground for the stupid who don't know how to bargain shop and look around but this would mean paying full price for the more savvy.
Back on the frugal bandwagon for the third time and hoping to slash my debt by the end of 11' and start saving again!

Actually, right now...thanks to Walmart (literally) for the first time in history vendors have ALL the power over manufacturers. So much so that they have the power to say to manufacturers...move to Asia or lose our business. Sell us X amount of product Y for price Z or lose our business. When a big buyer like Walmart threatens to take their business elsewhere, manufacturers have no choice but to listen.

I don't think this will be as bad as it seems. Manufacturers are not going to want to push away customers. Sony isn't going to overprice their tvs so much that Magnavox can lure their customers away

YankeeMom - I checked out the Wake-Up Walmart site in your sig...lots of food for thought there. I am guilty of shopping there sometimes since it's the closest grocery store to my home.

Anyway, thank you for sharing it!
