Default It pays to be nice sometimes!

I had run to my local grocery store at the last minute today since I was out of both bread and milk and wanted to get a Sunday paper too. Since I was there, I figured I would pick up DH prescription which he dropped off but did not bother to pick up or wait for. Anyway, as I approached the counter, I noticed some of the lights were off and it looked as if they were closing. I asked and the clerk told me they had just submitted the reports and closed up for the day. I told her no problem, I can come back later in the week and I started to walk away. The clerk told me to wait a minute and handed me a 5.00 gift card for being so nice about it! WOO HOO!

I know that I would have to go to the store later in the week in any case so it is no big deal to pick up the prescription at that time! TOO COOL

It's absolutely amazing the crap that some retail personel go through from other customers. When you get a customer that is genuinely nice, it's like getting $100. Thanks for being kind to that person. I'm glad you were so well rewarded!
