    Default Streeeeeeeeeeetching my cosmetics dollar!

Well, I tried Rimmel makeup, and like it, and it's pretty cheap. I mix two colors, so last month, when I ran out of one color, I cut open the container and got three more days out of it. I didn't put it into a plastic bag, so it dried up. Well, now the other bottle ran out, and I cut it open, and this time put it into a ziploc bag. I've gotten 5 days out of just one side of the bottle, and I can get at least one more from that, and I haven't even started on the large side yet! I can't believe I used to throw them out when they didn't spit anymore out! Stupid me! Never again.

Now I have a pair of scissors in the bathroom, and I'm gonna snip-snip-snip everything open when it runs out! LOL

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you. My friend says that when perfume gets so low it won't squirt you can open it and pour a little witch hazel into it, and shake it up really good, and get another few uses out of it, even though the scent won't be as strong. She says that the essential oils stick to the side of the container, and although you can't see them, they wash off into the witch hazel, and can be used like body spray.

I always squirt a little baby oil into my foundation bottle when it starts getting empty, I usually get another couple of weeks out of it and I don't notice too much of a difference.
It's so satisfying making it last longer!

Great job! I usually put some lotion in my foundation to make it last longer.

I always throw it away. I will have to try that next time I run low.
