Angry Mr. Murphy wanted to visit my house

Last week my main water pipe broke and naturally it was on my side of the yard. Cost me $1.000 and 56.02 for the building permit. At least I had the money in my EF I could take out. Didn't have to borrow the money or take out a loan. Hope Mr. Murphy wants to take a vacation for a very long time!

That EF really comes in handy, doesn't it!! Glad you had a reasonably happy ending!

Oh no! I am glad you had an EF in place so you didn't have to borrow to pay the bill. It sure is great to have an EF!

Mr. Murphy did visit us, just a bit ago. Our upstairs tub had leaked awhile back through the ceiling to the other downstairs bathroom, we thought we had it fixed, WHAMO, it is back.

Noooo! No! Mr. Murphy is not allowed anymore at your place OR MINE! I do NOT want him anymore! Someone else will have to entertain him.

In the last 4 months our EF has been decimated. Mom died, we had to move her stuff to another province, Dad remarried a very controlling woman, I broke my foot, my computer printer and keyboard are on the fritz (I'm borrowing DD#2's keyboard), the executor and financial planners were arguing over Mom's money, we are heading east to inter Mom's ashes with relatives (read cost money for airfare and car rental), and then the financial planner comes to me and asks if I have the money to pay the funeral costs out of my own pocket!!!

Oh yeah, and house insurance is going up, as has gas, as has medical. Yep, I'm with the lady who says Mr. Murphy is a daily visitor...

Mr. Murphy is NOT allowed anywhere on this board or near it's members!
