I miss our Kmart, it closed about 10 years ago. The nearest one is 50 miles away so I don't get there very often at all.

Yep, some great deals going on, I work there so get to jump on a lot of them, and even get a discount on top of it!! Not long ago I got Pantene on sale for $4.00 a bottle for the huge bottles, then got a $10.00 gift card for buying them, so got all the shampoo for $2.00. (no discount on HBA for us)
They also have a great deal on fruit of the loom undies, mens, womens and kids, womens 6 packs for $6.00, similiar on kids/mens, buy 5 packs and get a $10.00 gift card.
And a LOT of the summer clothes should go on MAJOR discount soon, most will be $1.99 each, hubby and I purchased a LOT of clothes for this coming winter that way, got GREAT lined flannels for $1.99, guess what our brothers are getting for Christmas!!

Ann I don't think they care as long as people are shopping their stores.
( Just my op )
I would do the exact same thing if I was nearer and had the money.

Don't feel guilty you're still a paying customer! Just check carefully on the form for the gift cards, they usually say one per address, I just use my mom and a good friend, and a neighbor for additional, lol, they give me the cards. Besides, when the sales are good I take friends in shopping so I'm bringing additional business in, my friends aren't as good at sticking to a list as I am so buy a lot of extras.
And I do enjoy working there, I do night stock and like working alone and getting a heads up on the sales. My favorite time to work is Sat. nights, it's just two of us and we tear down the old ads and set up the new sales for the week

WEll thats the thing, Im not really paying for anything but the first order.
ON my first order I bought the batteries, and two crest toothpaste. I had a coupon for 1.50 off the batteries and .75 off of each toothpaste. My bill was only 8.00 and then they gave me a $10 gift card( you get it right then, no mailing in) . I then used that gift card to turn around and make another purchase. So on my second order I used the gift card to pay for something that they were going to give me another 10 for. and so on and so on. Thats the part Im feeling guilty about even though I have been reasured that its okay to do that and I read the coupon very careful. IT doesnt say limit one deal per person and it doesnt say I cant use the gift card to pay for another deal. Make sense?

i hate our local Kmart!! I stopped in today while I was shopping at other places (it's about a 15 minute drive - but I do my grocery shopping there so it's no biggie). I went to look for these saverpacks but couldn't tell which ones they were. None were labeled with saverpack so I didn't know which ones to get. And of course there was no associate in the area - not even in electronics. This is always the case. When you need help there is no one there. I use to do mystery shopping there and it was just a pain to find an associate to actually talk to. So, needless to say after looking around a little longer and hoping to find an associate somewhere either in electronics, gardening, food, or toys we decided to leave. Wasn't worth my time. I would have asked someone up front, but they are always shortstaffed up there too. bummer.
