    Default My somewhat frugal weekend!

Well- me and my hubby decided to quit smoking by ways of hypnosis. It cost us $100 for both of us to attend. They had a raffle for those in attendance for the self hypnosis- my hubby won the kit estimated at $80 value! We also went to a local reptile show (it only costed $10 for all of us to go)- it was a nice cheap way to see a ton of reptiles- which both of my girls love. They had a raffle going on and I won the raffle! It is a garden statue of frogs- one is sitting in a chair and the other is lying under an umbrella- the lady told me that it retails for $120! I am planning on giving it to my mom for Christmas! So we did spend quite a bit of money- but me and hubby have not smoked since we left there- so we will be saving more money!

Karma was really in full force over the weekend! Congrats!
My father stopped smoking the same way, and it's been over 20 years.

Open up a savings acct and deposit all the money you were spending on cigs...then take a nice trip next year on your cig money.

If it will help you stop smoking it was a bargain at any price. Stay away from the tobacco.... Sounds like you had a nice time too so that's worth a lot. Congrats on being so lucky

Congratulations on your winnings......But most of all I solute you for quitting smoking...I just quit 4 months ago after smoking 2 to 3 packs a day for almost 27yrs...I don't hear my boys telling me that they can't breath or that I'm killing them or myself anymore..I'm not coughing up any more lungs like I use to everyday.. I'm also saving myself $175.00 a month I bought my ciggs online if I didn't buy them online I would be spending over $300.00 a month....I'm so happy that I finally conquered my addiction!!!!!!
