The WORST Jelly beans I have ever had!
I went to DG to get some snacks for my trip, and I got some Crayola jelly beans. They are HORRIBLE! They had no flavor at all, just tasted like sugar and gelatin. I called the 800 number on the back of the package, but they didn't even say they were sorry I was dissatisfied. Just asked for my phone number so they could "pass it on". They're made in Mexico, and the woman I talk to sounded hispanic. That, of course, has nothing to do with the quality, but I noticed it when I was looking for the number. It's a company called Blueberry Hill Foods out of El Paso, TX.

Perhaps they will work with a coloring book?

seriously though, why is it that customer service is so stinky now? I've heard so many people dissatisfied with the CS reps response of lack thereof lately. Hopefully they do something about it.

I would advise you to write them a complaint letter, include the UPC code and package size, etc. Tell them in the letter that you "know" this product is not up to their standards and neither is the customer service. Just let them know that you expect a refund or replacement products of another type.

Sorry about the yucky jelly beans. I agree with Barb about writing a letter. I think that is an excellent idea.

I found out that they have a website, and I went there and sent a message through the "contact us" link. Hopefully, they will respond. It seems that they are a HUGE company, and make a lot of general brand candies.

the only thing that comes to mind when thinking about crayola and snacking is a dog pooing a lovely rainbow of colors after eating some crayons.

You will not believe the end of this story! They wrote me and want to UPC number on the package. I threw the freakin' package away! I'm going to DG and get another UPC and copy it down. That's just bad customer service.
