ok so i got up this morning to got get my newspapers at barnes and noble. picked up the local paper and the washington post and the new issue of crochet today. well the post had a sticker on it that said 2.25. hmmm that's odd, it's printed with 1.50 but the 2.25 is on top of it. they can charge less for it, but they aren't supposed to be able to charge more than the publisher's price. so when i get to the counter i asked the girl about it and if they'd honor the publisher's price. her reply was no. i told her if you wouldn't honor the list price i didn't want any of it. we went back and forth a bit so i finally said again, i don't want any of it and left.

what gets me about this is that one they are over charging on something that most post readers will know they are over charging, and she didn't offer to call someone to check the others or a manager.
i didn't ask for a manager because this BN is horrible so i guess i really shouldn't have been surprised by the lack of customer service, but this is just the last straw with this store. so now i get to sit and wait for another bookstore to open at 11 so i can get my papers. :/

so watch your prices every where, you can still get over charged in places you would think you can't be.
