    Question Internet DSL

well it is FINALLY available where I live at $5 more a month than I am paying now for dialup

is it worth it to get? i dont watch movies or play games online but even what i do do (email, searches etc) is SO SLOW i am tempted.

    any opinions?

    thanks!

It's well worth the extra money every month. JMHO. I say go for it and enjoy.

If you have room in your budget for $5 more/mo, then I believe high speed is worth it.

If things are tighter, try pretending that you have it. Just set the $5 aside each month to see how it goes.

Are there any setup or installation fees?

i am not sure what the fees are but it looks like i may be able to get it for $10 a month if i agree to a year...but now they have dsl fast dsl and FASTEST for different prices

go figure-if the $10 is decent with no fees i will go for it-same as i am paying now and the phone wont be busy

dial up is not an option in this household.

I got rid of cable tv long ago but the cable internet stays.

We won't go back to dial up either. Go for it. We pay an extra $25 for ours and it's still worth it if you ask me.

A few months ago when our laptop exploded we went to dial up just so we could use the old comp till we got a new one and when we got our new one I vowed NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER TO USE DIAL UP AGAIN !!!!!! LOL
So In my humble opinion DSL is worth every penny that those nice people charge me every month lol

I can't believe dial up still exists... my computer doesn't even have a modem.

I would go for it and get the DSL. We access to free dial-up, but pay for the DSL. It is worth it and we would only go back to dial-up if it were an emergency.
