Funny phone call with my dh
Phone just rang and it is dh from work.
Him~Are you going to run to the hardware store and get me some quickrite for the hall floor?
Me~I don't know what to get
(He tells me but I won't bore ya!)
Me~ ORRRR you could just run in there yourself after work as you drive by BOTH Lowes and Home Depot and save me from having to drive ALLLLL the way across town and using my gas.(He has a company truck and the gas is FREE for him!)
Him~ Oh yeah gosh!(he is kidding here) why do I have to do it?
Me~ Hey I am just saving you your hard earned working buck!
Him~ Oh okay fine! I hope you packed me enough food.
Me~I did 2 sandwiches and chips and water.
Him~ yeah but no trail mix......(insert guilt trip here NOT!)
Me~ I didn't know it meant so much to you, sorry. Get something out of the snack machine but make a GOOD choice!
Him~ I would but I don't have any cash.
Me~ You do in your truck. Go catch it before it goes to make a parts delivery.
Him~ Hey yeah!!!
Him~ What are you doing?
Me~ I am at Frugal Village getting more bang for your hard earned dollar.
Him ~~~~*laughs* Well you have a FRUGAL day now!
LOL

My dh does the same thing to me (guilt trip and all). It's so much easier for them to just do it themselves, isn't it?
