    Default Whoo hoo!!!

Dh & I went to the PX & the Commissary today. Mostly just window shopping but I forgot to get Chlorox Ready Mop cloths when I went shopping last week.

Well, the commissary had a couple of FANTASTIC deals!

Chocolate Lucky Charms (20oz) on sale for 99c/box plus they had coupons for $1/2. So I got them for 49c each!! I bought 8 boxes & would have bought more had dh not put his foot down They don't expire until next March!

Then we were in the meat aisle & they had 10lb boxes of pork riblets for 98c/lb! We only bought one though.

The local dollar store had Coke products 6 cans for $1, you could mix & match whatever you wanted. I got Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, TAB, Diet Caffeine Free Coke, Sprite Zero, etc. About 3 six-packs, it will last us MONTHS!

lol I told DH about this, he is stopping at the commissary on his way home from work tomorrow for those Lucky Charms. Did you notice any other good deals?

They have the Kraft Deli Sliced Cheese cheap. Provolone is just $1, Swiss & Pepper Jack are $1.50, and Sharp Cheddar is $1.89

Your Commissary will probably have different things than what ours has. The low low deals like this are usually store specific, has to do with them having an overstock on some things or getting a REALLY good deal from a supplier.

My hubby can shop in the Newport RI commisary. Is there a website they have to see grocery prices or sales?

Way to go Heather! I don't blame you for stocking up on the cereal. Cereal is an expensive item at $2 or more a box. .49cents is a great price!! WOOHOO!

You did great! I would stock up too, if I found those prices. The generic cereal we buy is between $1.89-$1.99 a box. The regular cereal is insane at $4-$5 a box at our grocery store, not even a bargain for us with coupons!!!
