    Default My weekend grocery trip

Like many of you, groceries are a big part of my budget. I try to eat as natural as I can with lots of fruits and veggies, so for 1 person, my grocery bill is kind of high, but I'm working on it. So, although the savings aren't as much as a lot of you do, I'm pretty happy with my trip.

    Grocery total before coupons.... $158.00
    Grocery total after coupons.....$109.00

Savings....$50.00! This is huge for me. These should last me for at least 2 weeks.

My biggest savings was on 24oz bottles of Panteen shampoo and conditioner. It was on sale for $6.69 a bottle. I had a BOGO coupon, plus another coupon for $3.00 off of 1, so I got 2 huge bottle of shampoo and conditioner for $3.69!

Thanks for all of your tips!

Almost 1/3 of your bill I would say that's a pretty good job.

My big buy of the week was Hellman's mayonnaise. On sale 2 for $4 and I bought 4 with one $2 off 2 and another $1.50 on 2 coupons.
So two for $1 each and the other two for $1.50 each. It should keep me for a little while.

Great job...I love to see where us gals and guys save at the market. When I save I am smiling coming out of the grocery store. Bet you were also.
