Need to order new checks
Hello! I'm new to the village, though I have been lurking here for quite a while.

I need to order checks...would never pay full price at the bank! Where do you order your checks from?
TIA!

Thanks for reminding me that I need to go to the bank and do the same! I get my checks free with my checking account.

I like to order mine from our bank, and I also have them delivered to our branch.......I don't want to worry about them being in the mail system, but that's just me : )

This last time I needed checks (which was about 2 months ago), I ordered them from Walmart.com, very inexepensive, & fast service, too.
But before that, I ordered from citm.com (checks in the mail). I ordered form CITM.com for over 5 yrs. Great Co. IMO

we have a credit union and i order them from the link on the CU website. they cost the same as going through all the places you see in the coupon fliers because it's one of them. a few years ago they partnered with them instead of the CU getting them printed themselves. it's been a lot cheaper since then. though i just get the plain boring basic checks not the cute ones.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I wish I could get free checks, but I'll just check out all the different options, and go with the least $$$$!

I have used checks in the mail and checks unlimited. If you have never ordered from them before they have great deals. I have also heard that costco.com has good deal and you do not need to be a member. I have not used costco for checks, but I used them for our wedding invitations and was impressed by there quality and price.

I ordered checks the other day from Walmart. I believe the total was $8.86 (that includes $2.50 for shipping). I've been using them for a while and only have had trouble once with late delivery. I think it was the post office's fault and not Walmart's. Other than that, the checks come quickly.

I always order my checks through the bank. I work in a bank and I have seen way to many cases of mail-order or call in places doing misprints of routing or account numbers, which screws up everything and then not standing by their mistake.
